Pike provided construction services for an existing nominal 80MW combined cycle facility which has not been in operations since 2003.

The project involved modifying the existing unit to accept a Rolls Royce Trent 60 CT.  Major work involved the removal of a Siemens V64.3 CT and replacing it with a Rolls Royce Trent 60 CT. This required new gas compressors to meet the 800psig fuel inlet pressure requirement. The inlet duct also required extensive modifications to accommodate the new CT. Rotating equipment was inspected and repaired as necessary.
