Peace Bridge US Approach Widening
Pike provided general construction services for all construction activities and coordination of construction workforce for the widening of the United States’ approach area of the Peace Bridge that connects Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada and Buffalo.
Scope of work on the project included construction of the concrete substructure including footings, abutment walls, retaining walls, and piers; erection of bearings and structural steel; concrete superstructure; concrete approach slabs; and concrete balustrade walls. Also included in Pike’s scope of work was installation of storm drainage, overhead sign gantries, electrical lighting, and asphalt paving.
