Sullivan County Jail

Pike provided general construction services for the new 155,000 SF, 300-bed Sullivan County Jail in Monticello, New York. The new jail was designed for direct supervision, with cells grouped into pods A through F. Each pod has a common-area dayroom, a multipurpose room, outdoor recreation area, and a central podium. The jails modular construction also allows for expansion in the future.

The design also included precast concrete exterior wall panel and precast concrete modular cells. The Pike Company self-performed the sitework, including establishing site SWPP and erosion control, required cuts, fills and rock removal, site utility installation, and building pad preparation.
