Wayne County Nursing Home

Pike provided construction management services for the county nursing home facility. The facility includes four two-story housing units, activity centers, separate dining centers, a specialty street of shops, and a physical and occupational therapy center. The facility provides 192 beds and is 135,000 SF.

The layout consists of a three story central-core housing administrative offices as well as common residential space. Four separate housing wings are located off of the central core. Each of the two community dining and recreational areas are shared by two residential wings, encouraging a sense of both home and community.
